On Thursday 17th October, Y6 were visited by Greenshift Education, who led us in a heart-handling workshop. It was a fantastic (if not a bit gruesome) experience that we all enjoyed very much! We now have a far greater understanding of the circulatory system as a result.

Casey attended the Sea Cadet awards this weekend. She had a great time and to top her night off she won Youth United Cadet of the year 2019 for Outstanding contribution. Amazing 🌟
Isla and Carmen have just got back from Hong Kong. They went to visit the village where their Grandpa grew up. It was such a great experience. They also visited Victoria Peak, took a cable car to Buddha, visited Disneyland and ate lots of yummy food.
Joshua has been on holiday to Canada this summer where he visited several of their national parks in Alberta and British Columbia and the rockie mountains, helped assess the mounted police for their dressage event in firt mcleod, went to a pow-wow and a rodeo, visited ‘frank slide’ and ‘head smashed in buffalo jump’, kayaked alongside turtles, and spent time with his canadian cousins!
A lovely morning on Tuesday 4th June in Year 5 introducing our boys and girls to our exciting new Reading Plus scheme and doing a carousel of Statistics activities, developing our reasoning skills.
Cory had a great weekend in London Wembley for the Sunderland game which didn’t go to plan he also visited Camden town, Camden Loch, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street and went on a boat in Hyde Park
