Year 3 have been using their investigative skills to explore the length and height of objects we found in the yard. We made comparisons, found total length and found the difference in lengths using metre rulers.
Year 3 created faces using our orienteering map and key. We used our learning from year 2 to help us using our sticky knowledge.
For worship this week we made videos to show what we were passionate about just like Anna and Simeon. We used our oracy skills to show expression and emotion. Well done Year 3! You can see our videos on our Seesaw accounts!
Yesterday, year 3 have begun our unit of length by measuring objects in the classroom using millimetres, centimetres and metres. Great start year 3!

Year 3 had had a fantastic time at the library this morning. We got to listen to some funny books which were called ‘Don’t eat Pete’ and ‘Don’t say elephant.’ We then looked at some books which were linked to our topic ‘Rocks, Relics and Rumbles.’ We then got to choose our own library books to take back to school which we can’t wait to read. We can’t wait for our next visit to the library!
Year 3 explored, investigated and compared a range of magnets. We explored how different magnets such as horseshoe magnets, magnetic marbles and rotating magnets attract and repel each other. We labelled diagrams and recorded our observations. Super work year 3.
