Reception had great fun working together to build dens. Once completed, they sat inside with a cold drink, keeping cool and relaxing after all their hard work.
This afternoon reception have concluded our RE learning of Special Places by focusing on the world and our environment. We firstly discussed how we can look after our world, we then went into our garden and were tasked with finding something in nature that is awe inspiring to us and gave reasons why.

This morning reception continued their RE learning of Special Places by visiting the church. We had time to explore the church to identify the significant features, we also discussed how we felt when were inside the church.

Reception put their artistic skills into action. They used a variety of materials, tools and techniques to create textured starfish artwork, exploring different textures and expressing their creativity 
What a way to celebrate England’s first World Cup game tonight by having a kick about with our friends. Well done reception 
For our Tuesday worship at the moment reception are focusing on building links with the church. We have started this by creating a stained glass window craft to decorate the church, we really hope you like them! ️
This morning Reception were set an arty worship challenge by Mrs B, we watched a video introducing St Oswald, we then drew a portrait of him ensuring we depicted him as a king. We had some fabulous detailed drawings, great job!
