Our topic in Ozzie Owls last night was ‘Healthy Eating’.

Our children made their own Fruit Kebabs, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. Our children then had a task of making their own packed lunch box. They all had sheets of paper with various pictures of food, which they had to decide which ones were healthy and which were not. Our Ozzies worked so well and made some fantastic choices. Then, they had to write what the word ‘Healthy Eating’  means to them and what they think of Healthy Eating.

Mrs Craig, Miss Morgan and Mrs Pearson were so so proud of our Ozzie Owls. Well done Ozzies

Ozzie Owls had a fantastic last week of term designing their own Easter eggs and wreaths. We put all the children’s work on our windows for you all to see and admire. Mrs Craig could not decide which one to choose so she invited Mrs Chalder who is our Art Lead Member of Staff here at St Oswalds to choose someone from KS1 and KS2 as they were so good.

Mrs Chalder chose our KS1 winner who was Savannah Robertson and our KS2 winner who was Ava Robinson. Each child received two chocolate Easter Eggs as a gift.

Mrs Craig, Miss Morgan and Mrs Pearson were so so proud of all Ozzie Owls as they had all worked so hard and their work was exceptional.

Our Ozzie Owls have worked so hard on making these Chinese Dragon Masks. Aren’t they amazing!

Our Ozzie Owls have been thinking about the year ahead of them and thought about new year’s resolutions!

‘Our Ozzie Owls have had a fantastic day celebrating the Coronation of our King. We started with a Coronation Breakfast which they thoroughly enjoyed. Then in After School Club we enjoyed a beautiful Coronation Tea, which we all, including Mrs Craig and Miss Morgan absolutely loved.

Mrs Craig and Miss Morgan are especially proud of the windows that we have decorated as all the Coronation Crafts were made by our children. They have spent a long time completing them and we are so so proud of them all, so well done Ozzie Owls. Enjoy your bank holiday with your lovely families and we will see you Tuesday morning for breakfast.’

‘Mrs Craig and Miss Morgan are so proud of all our Ozzie Owls. We have made some lovely Easter Crafts. We also had an amazing Egg Making Competition in which we have had 4 winners, each received an Easter Egg. We all finished our last day off with a picky tea which they all thoroughly enjoyed. Last week our Ozzie Owls spent their time in club completing cards and pictures for Fathers Day. They completed lots of activities including mindfulness colouring for the special person in their life.

Their work and lovely words to their loved ones were lovely to read. We hope all our children had a lovely day with their families!
