Y2 have had a gorgeous morning with the help of Mrs O’Doherty. We started our cut, stitch and join DT topic. We made bag tags templates, practiced our running stitch and developed our embellishment skills. Staff were blown away with everyone’s attitudes and learning. We will apply these skills to create our own bag tag, inspired by British Designer Cath Kidston.
Yesterday, Y2 started their new science topic. We started an investigation to see what plants need to survive. We planted cress and runner bean seeds. We will be focusing on germination and observing the changes over the next few weeks.
