In Year Two, during wet play we enjoyed our GoGo Squeeze Yoghurts. There were delicious!! Then we had fun playing with our funny faces. We thought it was hilarious looking like fruit.
Year Two took part in our class assembly on ‘Explorers and Journeys’. We learnt so much about Neil Armstrong, Captain Robert Falcon Scott and Christopher Columbus. We really enjoyed sharing our knowledge to the school and parents and we hoped you enjoyed our song. We hoped you enjoyed it too!
The children who had 100% attendance in Autumn term across Y2-Y6 had a fabulous time bowling today! We went to the bowling alley at the Dunes, where everyone supported each other along and really enjoyed the experience. It’s safe to say the staff enjoyed themselves too, especially Mr Hawkins!
Year Two really enjoyed their time in the Prayer Space session in St Oswald’s Church. This week we are focussing on – how can we strengthen spiritually?
Well done to all of those children in Key Stage One who met the termly homework target and a special well done to all the parents and carers that supported with this. As a treat to those children and recognition of all of their hard work and resilience towards their homework they got the opportunity to slide, jump and run their way around Pirates’ Cove. Well Done to you all!
Year Two have been learning all about How the Workd was made. In their RE learning they have been focussing on tile one of the Big Frieze – Creation – linked to Genesis 1. Through music, dance and drama they worked in groups to bring what Christians believe about Creation to life! Well done Year Two, you did a great job 👍🏻 !
Year 2 have had a fantastic week! We had a fun filled morning on Wednesday at Hebburn Fire Station and an exciting afternoon at Temple Park taking part in a tennis festival, were the children took part in lots of different tennis related challenges!
I have been on holiday to Tenerife with my Mam, Dad and brother Charlie!! It was very hot and I have been in the pool lots with my friend Nemo!! We had a great time!!
