We have been to Fort William and went up Ben Nevis had so much fun on the zoom track at the top and the sun was shining but it was windy up there, it was so high you could see for miles.

So Matilda has had a busy summer so far. We went on a road trip to Windsor Castle, then we went to Legoland for a few days and surprised Matilda and Erin that they were there together.

Hi, Kate has had a lovely couple of weeks off so far and has ticked off a few things on her “Summer Bucket List”.

Kate loved the Clip n’ Climb at Cramlington and even reached the top of a few of the climbing walls. Her legs were so shaky on the way up, she showed perseverance and determination to reach the top! We were so proud!

Kate had her cousin, Sophie, had fun building a den at Cragside.

Kate enjoyed her slush and her ice-cream at the cinema. She really enjoyed Despicable Me 3.

We are off to Florida soon so we will have a few photos to send to you once we are back.

Year 1 quite literally had a blast this half term learning about the Great Fires of London and Newcastle. The children began designing and making their own models of houses from 1666 using Purple Mash on the computer. Next they constructed their cardboard houses recreating Pudding Lane. Then we used photographs of their models and stuck them onto boxes so that we could set them alight, just like back in 1666!

Year 1 had such a fantastic time learning all about the Great Fire of Newcastle and Gateshead. They took part in a story map, investigated Victorian artifacts and even performed a puppet show.
