‘On Saturday 5th November Ivy went to St Andrews Church in Chilton Moor for her Confirmation, it was a lovely evening!’ Wow Ivy, you look gorgeous and we bet it was a very special evening indeed!

Year 6 have had a fantastic, jam-packed day at the Word. From programming Scratch to give out E-safety advice, to filming our very own episode of St Oswald’s does E-Safety in front of the green screen and then building and programming our own Lego break-dancer. Wow! What a terrific day of technology!
Our superstar Ellie was proud to be a mascot for Newcastle women – well done, Ellie!
Our gorgeous girl Maddie has started to learn how to ice skate! She is loving it!

We had a great first night at this half terms forest club! We all put our heads together and discussed lots of fab ideas…we have planned out lots of fun activities for the coming weeks (one of which is an autumn BBQ BONANZA)! We then finished off the night with an epic game of hide and seek snitch 😊
Reception have had a fantastic week in RE this week! Wow, we have been so busy learning about the creation story and have been creators ourselves too!

. We have also been lucky to have Mr Richardson join us and share his special items with us. We learned all about treating things with care and looking after them, just like we should do with God’s name. We know his name is very special
️.
There weren’t any 3-2-1s on the Year 3 trip to The Word yesterday, only Lights, camera … ACTION! It was a jam packed day, which started with some computer coding using Scratch and then into the green screen TV studio. In the afternoon the children fine-tuned their online safety dialogue for their animations. They can’t wait to share what they created!
