But here come the real stars of the show… Our amazing children all dressed up and celebrating at home and at school! 🤩🥳
Any excuse for a little bit of fancy dress! Our staff are loving World Book Day just as much as the children! Can anyone spot Mr Richardson?
We have been looking at 2D shapes and their properties. We have matched the shapes with their names and descriptions. Then we went on a shape hunt around the classroom.

On Tuesday 2nd March Year 5 spent the afternoon with Miss French collecting data about the planets in our solar system and then transporting that data into graphs, some of us even tried doing this on google sheets and evaluated our findings. We were very impressed with the results!
It might not be Shay’s official birthday this year (leap year) but he is 5 today!! He’s having an amazing day playing Sonic Olympics with his sisters and has been video calling with his family this morning! He has just loved dancing to banana banana meatball this morning online with his class!! They both can’t wait to be back to school next week to see you all 😊
Homeschoolers from Year 3 are always keen to show off their computing skills. Tasked with producing a story map to plan the narrative of their poems, they set to work researching, inserting and arranging images using Jamboard. We think they look fantastic and will be a great help when they come to do more planning this week.
Last week, year 3 carefully created pencil drawings of their names in hieroglyphics then used acrylic paint to transfer their designs onto rocks. The rocks were used to imitate the walls of Tutankhamun’s tomb. They did a fantastic job and were really proud of their work!
