Alex has had the most fabulous weekend in Dubai. His favourite part was swimming with a dolphin called Black. It was called Black because it had black freckles all over its tummy.
What a great day Year 5 had on Thursday 10th of October at Openzone. We did some recording using the green screen all about Alan Turing and Ada Lovelace. We spent our afternoon developing our coding skills. The bit that made Mr Usher smile the most though was definitely being complimented on how polite Year 5 were and their fantastic manners.
Art and Craft Club made Autumn Dreamcatchers. Don’t they look 👀 great!!
These three boys have done amazing in their karate tradings.
Oliver has graduated to his Purple belt in Phase 2 in the Kids Karate
Layton graduated to his Brown belt in Phase 2 in the Kids Karate ( not too far away from his black belt)
Rory graduated to Yellow with black stripe in the mini dragons

Year Five had another brilliant but wet day today on the second day of their Northern Saints Pilgrimage to Durham. Today the main focus was St Cuthbert. We were lucky enough to take part in a prayer service within the shrine of Cuthbert. It was a day of reflection and developing spiritually.
Just to say how proud we are of Charles for running the junior Great North Run yesterday. We caught up with Finley and Archie from year 5 on the way round and the three of them did really well!
Two firsts for Finn and Ollie this weekend, Ollie ran his first Mini run and Finn his first Junior Run, the boys ran for their cousin Eliza who completed the run with Ollie and her little sister Darcey, we have had a fab day raising money for Eliza!!
Isaac and Phoebe have had a fun filled, jam packed summer holiday. They went camping with their dad then went to London where they walked around for 10 miles sightseeing, visited the London aquarium, Houses of Parliament and Hamleys toy store.
They also went to Legoland (where that saw Mrs Booth) and Woburn safari park where they touched a real elephant and saw giraffes walking past the car. On returning home they have completed muddy bikes rides, been ten pin bowling, had beach and park days, crazy golf and so much more with family and friends . Everyone is glad to be back at school for a rest 😂 but we are planning our next memories too.
Robyn has had a great time in Malta with the family this summer. We hope you enjoyed yours too x
Alex has had an amazing summer, he was lucky enough to go to Disneyland Paris to watch his brother and his Stagecoach Friends perform Dance the Dream. He went to Glasgow to do some goalkeeper training with Thomas Schlieck the Borussia Dortmund Goalkeeper Coach that was great fun!! He also visited Barcelona when he went on a cruise.
