Freya completed her Race for Life 5k Muddy Run on Saturday (after unfortunately having to change from the original date with the rest of the school) Somehow managed to avoid the majority of mud 😂 but had so much fun! Raising over £100 for her Courageous Advocacy Cancer topic!
Year 4 have been exploring states of matter this week. We looked at different materials and asked ourselves if they were solids or liquids – and what was is that made them so?… Although it seemed straightforward at first, we soon discovered that it wasn’t so easy to explain the differences. For example, is foam a solid or a liquid?…

Freya and Sebastian had loads of fun doing Mini GNR again this year! Freya’s 4th year running and Sebastian’s 2nd….they seen lots of friends from school and had a fab day! 🥇🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻♂️
Kate has had the most amazing 6 weeks off. She started the holidays with a trip to Liverpool and danced the day away in the Cavern Club. We welcomed our new dog Lola into our family and Kate loves her so much. Then we were off to Mexico where we had the perfect holiday in paradise. We saw raccoons, coatis, agoutis, iguanas and best of all we watched the baby turtles get released into the ocean. Kate can’t wait to get back to school to see all of the teachers and her friends. She’s missed everyone so much.
Lots of fun was had this 6 weeks! Freya and Sebastian went on holiday to 🇹🇷 Turkey, trips the the Lakes, days out with family and enjoyed making the most of the sunshine! They cannot wait to start school again!
Harry and Zoe have just returned from an amazing holiday in Calgary visiting family. We have been camping in Banff, karted downhill at the Olympic ski jump, climbed a mountain (although a gondola did much of the work) and visited a wildlife centre for orphaned bears. Great memories made.
