Alex and Isabelle want to show everyone what the saw whilst out for a walk after lunch today! They saw a frog! They were so excited but remembered not to touch!! They had gone out puddle jumping and came across him in the street!

For our Math lesson we have learning our number bonds to 10. Miss Robson and Mrs Pearson were so impressed with the independent work in our books and in our practical lesson.

Kenzie, Jordan and Ava have been busy making a snowman in their garden and they have named him Frosty! He has carrots for buttons, nose and mouth and a yummy cucumber for his eyes.
Maddie and little sister Megan were surprised with a brand, new sledge last night! It looks like they had lots of fun in the snow!
Amber wanted to share the snowman she had fun making after all her school work today. She also made a chicken dinner in her mud kitchen with the snow and made snow angels.
Year one are loving the snow this break time. We have been making snowballs and making snowmen!
This afternoon Year 1 have been learning about games/toys around the world, Miss Booth challenged the children to see if they could play any of the games at home and then reflect on this. Nathan’s mam told us, ‘We played the game from Zimbabwe which was harder than we thought but Nathan definitely had fun (I think mainly because he kept hitting either himself or me with his ‘stone’ when he threw it up into the air!) we used a cable for the circle and his maths cubes for the stones!’

Shay and Harper have a messy and fun afternoon being paleontologists and digging for dinosaurs bones. They were so excited when they found the dinosaur bones and even got to build the dinosaur which turned out to be a t-rex 🦕
