Reception have been doing lots around changing material this week and we created our own frozen dinosaur eggs, later in the week they hatched and our frozen dino egg was revealed!
Reception have had an amazing week learning about dinosaurs and this week we created our own fossils using plaster of paris, sand and moulds! Can you guess what our fossil is?
Reception are thoroughly enjoying Curriculum Week so far! This week we have completed sessions in History, Music, PSHE, PE, Design and Technology and Geography! Here are some of the things we have been getting up to so far.
Matilda and Lily have had a lovely Christmas, with a trip to Beamish and breakfast with Santa. Having a Christmas night in with friends Erin and Maya then having Christmas day with family xx
Anna had fun visiting Santa, ice skating at the centre for life, watching Mary Poppins and more 🙂 She’s excited to be back to school today.
Zach has had great fun over the holidays spending time with family and friends and going to the pantomime and visiting Santa.
Lucy and Anna have had a brilliant time performing in their Showtacular dance performance of Nativity the musical. They were the best group there, they did fantastic and have got a lovely trophy for all their hard work!
Reception have had an amazing day today! We visited Fenwick’s Window and saw the Snowman inside, it was so much fun! After, we visited McDonald’s and all enjoyed our dinner, wearing reindeer antlers and colouring in!
This week Reception walked to the golden postbox and posted our letter to the North Pole. We are so excited for Santa to receive our letters!
