‘Evie celebrated Easter a bit differently this year, we missed visiting family and took a road trip to Altrincham. Whitley made it to the final and we wanted to show our support. Unfortunately we lost 2-0 but it was worth the trip.’

‘Evie has had a fantastic start to the Easter holidays. She has been on a theme park tour with her family and has visited Alton Towers, Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures. She has braved some of the top 10 UK rollercoasters such as Oblivion and Stealth. We’ve also been to London and visited Sea Life and Shrek Adventures and had a ride on the London Eye. Thank goodness there is another week off to recover! Hope you are all having a lovely Easter!’
‘Ivy had a lovely morning at the stadium of light for the open training. She even went to see her brick in the wall

What a privilege it was for me to attend Hebburn Helps and see our gorgeous Sophia from Bede Burn and handsome Callum from St Oswald’s and their mams receive their MBE awards for their voluntary services to aid the community. Both Sophia and Callum for years have given up their school holidays to support at Hebburn Helps and ensure those who need support in the community are fed. Their work was also recognised during the pandemic. They are real courageous advocates and I am so so proud to be their headteacher! Thanks Callum and Sophia.
Love Mrs Smith

‘Evie decided to give ice skating a go, as she is such a big fan of the ice hockey. This weekend she received her first badge for completing Level 1 at Polar Club.

Our KS2 debate team have had an amazing time visiting South Shields town hall today. They got the chance to meet the mayor and mayoress who gave them a fascinating tour and shared their wonderful stories. They also participated in a debate about uniform, length of a school week and bullying and then were able to vote in a polling booth. The whole team really impressed staff with their excellent debating skills, well done!
Our girls have had a very busy weekend, please help yourself to some yummy, fresh eggs!
We have introduced our new lunchtime boxes today so that our children have got lots of fun things to keep them busy over their lunch break. Today’s box was creative and craft! Our children LOVED it… Watch this space, it’s all about ball games tomorrow!
