Joe has had lots of lovely family time this half term. Joe’s cousin Fleur had her 1st birthday and Auntie Gemma had her 40th so there’s been PLENTY of cake
We have also been to Druridge bay park and beach, out for bike rides, climbing with friends and another visit to the NELSAM museum to see the aeroplanes!
What a fantastic night we had last night at our Forest and Chicken and Duck Club! Always a firm favourite when we have a night of marshmallow toasting and sitting around the campfire…we even had Miss Topping, Mr Barron and Mr Richardson pop across to join in the fun!

It was great to see how busy St Oswald’s was this morning with our children in their transition sessions connecting with their new teachers. It is clear to see how ready our children are for the move to their next classes in September. Well done to our fabulous staff and amazing children!
‘Yesterday, Alfie and Oscar helped their sister Sofia do a 3 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Sofia’s dance school. They enjoyed a picnic half way and ice cream at the end. We walked from Souter light house to Minchellas!’
‘Huge well done to Bodhi!
Nominated for the Shirley Bowman Award at his Hebburn Town Junior Football Presentation
He’s proud as punch ⚽️‘
Here are some examples of our talk homework from this week. Our task was to spend time with and show an appreciation for our grandparents! Well done everyone these photos are gorgeous and so heart warming
‘Alfie and Oscar have had lots of fun in Scarborough! The sun was shining so they got to play in the sea and have fish and chips, then finished up at the arcades to spend daddy’s money!’
St. Oswald’s and Bede Burn had a fab day celebrating King Charles’ coronation. We spent some time together in our year groups across the morning and then had a coronation concert in the afternoon. Thank goodness the sun came out for us!
