Year 1 had a gorgeous morning at Jarrow library. The lovely Catherine read us stories then we chose a book of our own to bring back to school to read for pleasure.

what a bunch of superstars they have been throughout the whole season. Our Ozzie footy coaches cannot express how proud we are of the girls and their undefeated 9 match streak

‘We went to jump 360 for Kenzie’s 13th birthday, they had such a lovely time and Grace was so brave to jump onto the air bag. Jordan was very good at doing flips and jumps on things and beat the highest score on the bull ride, it was so fun!’

This week, Year 3 focused on backstroke. We were told to kick fast with no disco dancing spider legs and no chicken wing arms.

Year 4 started their new topic in PE, Athletics! Miss Marley challenged us for our cool task, by giving us the equipment and seeing if we could set up different athletic events. Well done year 4! 🏃♂️🏃♀️➡️
Reception has a great day learning about William Shakespeare. They explored who he was and why he is still important today. The children worked together to recreate the Globe Theatre using building blocks. They also used their sketching and painting skills to create portraits of William Shakespeare, thinking carefully about lines, shades and tones to add detail and expression.

Reception had a wonderful morning on our minibeast safari! We have hunted all things that creep, crawl and wriggle! 🪰🐜🐞
Year 4 have loved Shakespeare day and were truly enthralled by the tale of Romeo and Juliet! We explored the play and acted out our own version and summary, to put our acting skills to the test!
We also explored the relationships within the story and the conflict between the Capulets and Montagues.
