Some of Year Three went to a tennis festival to play against 12 different schools. The children had such a fun morning playing different types of tennis games. We even came 2nd place! Well done!

This week in multi-sports we have had a football focus. We warmed up with some of our favourite games of cat and mouse and activity ‘beans’. We then focused on passing and dribbling and finished with a match.
before then creating our own working circuits to make a torch! 

As part of our composition unit in music, Year 5 have been looking at identifying C major and A minor chords correctly.

This morning, reception continued with their Parable of Peace learning of The Lost Sheep. We used blindfolds to go into the darkness and we had to use our voices to speak to one another, guessing who we were. Well done superstars, you loved this activity 
In RE, Year 5 have been looking at Islam. We discussed the 99 names for Allah, so we could understand their meaning, before having a try at writing some of these names in Arabic.
Our KS2’s really enjoyed their new cheerleading club last week! We practiced lots of skills and then enjoyed creating our own sequence of movements and routines 

Year 3 was comparing the mass of different equipment within their classroom.
Our PE topic this half term is Rugby. We practised passing to our team, focusing on speed and accuracy and dodging to get past the opposition.
