Thomas attended an Easter disco this half term and won the Easter Bonnet Competition! He was so happy 😀
‘Harry and Zoe travelled down to Bath Spa and the Cotswolds to see family over Easter, photos of them with Mam in Bath City centre and Harry got the chance to do a little air rifles and pictured with Archery, in which he was really good at.’
Emma and Jackson sent this lovely message for all, ‘We hope you are enjoying the holidays,, today we have been making Easter cards and talking about the story of Easter.
We have had fish and chips for our lunch and decided we would definitely not be able to share them with as many people as Jesus did!!
We are now very full and going to play some games.
We are going to Kielder for a night in a cottage and hopefully a boat ride in the lake!
Take care and have a lovely Easter

Meryl and Joseph completed the very challenging Go Ape course during their time off – wow! How impressive!
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the library at Jarrow Focus. After listening to some stories, they chose their own books to loan and found some cosy reading spots. We can’t wait to go back again!
Our Freya had a gorgeous time over the holidays, vising Emmerdale!
On Friday, Y6 made rag-bag toys to bring their WWII topic to an end. The 1940s principle of “make do and mend” is becoming more relevant to modern day life as we all look to become more sustainable in our living bearing in mind climate change and global warming, much like wartime Britons had to because of rationing. Lots of fab DT going on, Y6!
As part of their science learning, Y6 handled and dissected lamb hearts. This was a great way to learn practically about the function of the heart. Well done, Y6!
Year 4 had an amazing trip to the Baltic today and had a great time! We had an exciting journey on the Metro and looked at all the bridges as we walked along the Quayside to the Baltic. In our workshop, we studied the different bridges across the Tyne on the viewing deck. Year 4 children were very brave to go out onto the glass viewing deck all the way up on platform 5! Then, we had a go at drawing bridges with different time limits to challenge ourselves. When we returned to school, we spent some time drawing our favourite bridge of the day to perfect it. Well done year 4!
