On Friday, Y6 made rag-bag toys to bring their WWII topic to an end. The 1940s principle of “make do and mend” is becoming more relevant to modern day life as we all look to become more sustainable in our living bearing in mind climate change and global warming, much like wartime Britons had to because of rationing.
