Year 3 said ‘au revoir’ to their French Food and Nutrition learning after a jam-packed couple of weeks. Well done Year 3!
Y6 made a wealth of tremendous meals today! Each child was given 100g of mince meat and then created a dish from around the world that they’d researched. The gorgeous smells at break time spoke for themselves! Well done, Y6.

It was a roaring success! Our outdoor club absolutely loved their end of club treats tonight! It sure does look yummy!
WOW! What an afternoon we have had in Year 2. We had a visit from Janine Marshall, Mr Richardson and Mrs Conway. As part of our food and nutrition week we made our own flapjacks. We planned what ingredients we wanted to use and demonstrated lots of fantastic baking skills. There was definitely a buzz in Ozzie Owls this afternoon. We cannot wait to taste and evaluate our flapjacks tomorrow.
Year Four waited patiently for their Ancient Greek bread taste test today. We tasted bread from our different cooking conditions and compared how they looked and tasted. After discussing if the bread would be appropriate for an athlete, we put it to the test! Year four competed in a running race and conducted exclusive post-race interviews with the Olympians (each other!). Interviewers asked questions about energy level and food preparedness for the race and our athletes had some great answers. Well done to all our Year Four Olympians!

Joey was all smiles as he arrived to school on his scooter. Dad even scooted back home
