Reception had a visit from a lovely paramedic called Jenny. She told us all about the Marvellous Machines that help her to do her job. Jenny let us try on her jacket, helmet and stethoscope. She showed us an oxygen mask and showed us how to put on a bandage. Thank you for visiting our classroom, Jenny, we had a great afternoon and learned lots! 

What a brilliant afternoon we have had as part of STEM week creating our very own Christmas decoration. Keep your eyes peeled at the Christmas Fair to see our creations!
This morning, Year 5 completed their ‘show racism the red card’ session. We learned all about our world views and who they are influenced by, what racism is and how we can challenge racism in modern day Britain!
‘Italia wanted to show some pictures of her visiting Beamish forest of lights last night she had a fab time!’ 

‘Isla went to the Newcastle ladies match on Sunday and had a great time . She would like to share her photos with her St Oswald’s family.’
‘Aaron and Harry had their big light switch on at the weekend and Thomas also came and joined in. Was very exciting as Santa came and they even seen him leaving on his sleigh! Extra special this year as we are also raising money for Tiny Lives at the RVI. Plenty of money already raised!’
