Mrs Hope’s fantastic,Y6 English booster have enjoyed their pizza party tonight, thanks to the very generous Mambos in Hebburn. They have all been totally committed for 14 extra hours and Mrs Hope is super proud of each and every one of them. Well done all of you!
‘Rocco got to see the Harlem Globetrotters at Newcastle Arena tonight. And he was lucky enough to learn a trick and get his ball signed.
A really fun night 🙌🏼 and loved bumping into a friend from school there too.’
On Tuesday, we continued our ‘Chop, Slice and Mash’ sequence. We had lots of fun making healthy salads! We each planned our ingredients before preparing our fruit and vegetables, we even used dressings to make our salads taste very good! Once we got back to class, we tasted our scrumptious salads and decided what we would change.
Year 4 have absolutely loved their day of Bikeability! They have mastered negotiating shared spaces, communicating clearly with others and choosing and maintaining the most suitable riding positions. Well done a Year 4!
This afternoon year 1 took part in a Healthy Minds session with Julie called Everyone Worries. We discussed what makes us feel worried and completed our own worry jars. We then looked at the signs and symptoms of feeling worried, discussed these and labelled a picture of what this looks like. What a great first session!

‘Alfie and Oscar love their new dog, Stan!’
Mr Richardson’s Y6 maths booster group enjoyed a pizza party tonight, thanks to the lovely Mambos in Hebburn, to celebrate the end of the group on the eve of SATs, which happen next week. They have put in 14 extra hours of learning since January, which has had a huge impact on their confidence and progress in maths and beyond. Well done, maths booster group!
