Year 2 had a wonderful afternoon yesterday at their Christmas party! We had lots of fun dancing, playing games and eating our party food!

This week, Year 4 have been thinking about road safety for cyclists. We worked with South Tyneside Council’s Bikeability team to develop our bicycle skills and road awareness. We considered the best ways to stay safe and to have control of the bike.
This afternoon Year 2 were busy in the Nature Garden making their own snowmen decorations. All of the staff were impressed with the independence and drilling skills that the children demonstrated. We cannot wait to share our decorations with our adults at home!

Our lovely Amber and family sent the following:
Last year we started a new tradition and went to a wreath making workshop. We couldn’t do this this year but we were able to order our own kit and carry on with the tradition at home. Amber loved helping putting all the dry fruit and spices on.
On Monday 7th December Year 6 had great fun composing our own Christmas music using the Garage Band app. We thought about key sounds and layered these sounds to create our own compositions. Great fun was had by all!

Shay and Harper were invited to be VIPs at the Alnwick Light Trail. They have shared:
‘We walked around and seen all the light shows, there was a Xmas disco stage and we learn to toast marshmallows on the fire. The talking snowman was our favourite he was so funny. We can’t wait to go back and meet father Christmas this weekend fingers crossed were on the good list this year xxx’
