Daniel’s mam has been in touch with some very exciting news:
‘Daniel would like you all to meet 9 month old Belle. We’ve just adopted her, She’s absolutely gorgeous, and Daniel is so excited 😀’
Oscar and Penelope have been enjoying the snow and painting over the holidays!
Simon and his family have been busy!
‘Thought you’d like to see some engineering in action. We didn’t get very far, but Simon worked very hard thinking about things like counterbalance and supports. We got three more pieces further forward before it collapsed under its own weight.
We regrouped for a more realistic marble run from the shed roof.’

Kenzie, Jordan and Ava have been busy making a snowman in their garden and they have named him Frosty! He has carrots for buttons, nose and mouth and a yummy cucumber for his eyes.
Talk about a STEM challenge – wow! We are blown away! A HUGE well done to Alfie and of course Jasper, for these creations!

Year 2 have had a busy week with their computing. Throughout the week we have learnt and applied new skills linked to Google Slides. We have added text, images and videos as well as editing the text and backgrounds on our slides. To finish our live lessons some children presented their slides and powerpoints.
During our English and RSE lessons we have had discussions about how to stay safe online. We have wrote our own letters of advice to traditional tale characters and an acrostic poem. We have been blown away with everyone’s learning this week, both in school and at home. Well done Year 2!

Maddie and little sister Megan were surprised with a brand, new sledge last night! It looks like they had lots of fun in the snow!
In worship this morning, Reception have been making “worry splatters” so they can splat their worries and fears away!
‘We went into the garden after lunch for a quick half hour play in the snow Grace had so much fun making snow angels and making snowballs was great fun!’
