On Tuesday, Year 4 made a ‘coffee themed’ Mother’s Day card! Miss Topping decided that coffee was the way forward for our lovely mams as they probably drink a lot of it day-to-day. We would like to say a big thank you to our mams for all of the help during our online learning over the past three months and that we really appreciate everything you do for us in Year 4!
Year 3 have been thinking about their time away from school and how important it is to be with people you love. To celebrate all the special women in their lives, they made cards and digital word clouds. Some children inserted voice recordings to send a special message too. Happy Mother’s Day!

Year One have been looking at the story The Colour Monster. We have chosen colours that match with our emotions and explained it through our art.
Year 2 have had a busy and creative afternoon. Linked to our hopes and happiness theme and new class novel the BFG we created our own dream jars. After that we wrote a letter to our future self identifying our hopes and dreams for the next 12 months.
It’s been a busy afternoon in Year 5 learning all about Viking runes and creating our own examples with messages of positivity in our hope and happiness week.
‘Harper and Shay came in to a special delivery this afternoon which was sent to them by a very special family member for how hard they’ve worked from home and have been staying safe and missing family. We are proud of how well they’ve coped during the lockdown and how sensible they’ve been and they are loving being back at school with the staff and their friends!’
Reception have been so excited this afternoon, we have some new arrivals!! We have been looking at and investigating our new caterpillars and frog spawn. We can’t wait to see how they grow and change 🦋
