Year 1 had an amazing afternoon yesterday and loved using the Beebots! This looks like such fun year 1!
Yesterday in Year 4 we have been completing a spot of gardening! We have been using trowels, spades, rakes, forks and brushes. We were very hot but made lots of progress on our Year 4 trench! Next step… planting some vegetables!
On Tuesday afternoon Year 2 went on a QR code hunt! Children had to work in pairs to find different QR codes and retrieve information from different websites. They then answered different questions about Easter and different traditions. They used this information to complete a Kahoot! quiz.
Reception have had a lovely forest school afternoon exploring the nature garden. We have listened to the story of ‘Stick Man’ and then we had to make our own! We searched around the nature garden to find some sticks that looked like they had arms and legs! Some of us even tied 2 sticks together to make our stick man. Well done reception!

Last week, year 3 started their Far Away Friday with a Kahoot Quiz and soon realised there was so much to learn about Jordon. So with this in mind, in teams, they set off on an outdoor fact finding mission. Soon they were scanning QR codes around the school yard and researching facts about Jordan such as traditional foods, the flag, language, their regions and the ancient city of Petra.

Y6 absolutely loved learning about a Jordan today! We began by researching the country and then created information leaflets that included geographical knowledge and understanding and a focus on why the country has particular religious significance. In the afternoon, we created Kahoot quizzes to share what we’d learned, which was great fun. Well done, Y6!
Year 5 have had a busy day with Miss French learning all about Jordan. A big well done to all of the boys and girls who have been showing great independence and resilience completing these projects at home. We’ve linked to topics such as Geography, History and even RE.
