Our amazing school librarians finished their book changes today and were surprised with these lovely, new Puffin School Librarians badges! We would be lost without these superstars running our school library and LOVE how much enthusiasm they have for books and reading for pleasure!
Y6 thoroughly enjoyed heading to Poland today for Faraway Friday! We listened to a range of Polish music from across the ages and then looked to replicate specific styles we had heard using Garage Band. The children developed their vocabulary hugely today, using musical terms such as rhythm, tempo, pitch, harmony and texture precisely.
Year 6 today enjoyed completing the wiring for their electric vehicles. All aspects of STEM were needed as the children focus on electricity (science), joining components (technology), applying their knowledge and understanding to a product (engineering) and measuring (maths). It came as no shock to see the whole class loving this electrical challenge!

Y6 are loving Reading Plus! Our very competitive bunch have been looking to get themselves onto the leaderboard this week, with many reading lots at home to support their reading in school in our to achieve combos and move up the levels. Well done to all of Y6 – keep it up!
We had the Best Christmas ever spending it in the highlands of Scotland with family.
