In Year 5 & 6 we have started to question how we can keep ourselves safe online when using social media apps. We have discussed the potential dangers of using social media and how we can protect ourselves from these. We have also discussed the reliability of information presented online and whether it is trustworthy all of the time. In Year 6 we have also focused on building upon our Google Slides skills and learned how to insert a hyperlink.

This afternoon was a combination of PE with Joe Wicks and a series of Cube challenges!  Were our children up to the test?

A great combination of home and live stream learning!  ‘The recipe was to do with their English work following instructions, Charlie wanted to make the cake, he did a brilliant job!’

Alfie has had a great last day of his Christmas holidays, sledging and building a Snowman ☃️

On Wednesday 9th December, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic Christmas STEM day. We planned and designed products using our torches we made with Technology Tom the week before. We used translucent materials to create products such as shadow puppet shows and table decorations. Mrs B and Miss Topping were very impressed!

On Monday 7th December Year 6 had great fun composing our own Christmas music using the Garage Band app. We thought about key sounds and layered these sounds to create our own compositions. Great fun was had by all!
