Josh moved onto an extra challenge this morning in maths which involved applying converting measures skills to map reading. Great work, Josh!

Y6 loved their snorkelling session today with Mr Hayton! It was a really rich experience that helped us with our water confidence along with our understanding of the environment. Well done, Y6!
During worship, Year 6 created a Christingle animation using scratch. We used our previous computing knowledge and linked it to the meaning behind Christingle.
Reception and Y6 paired up for their prayer space session today. They really do get on so well and were all able to complete a range of prayer activities together. Well done, Reception and Y6!
Y6 had a road safety talk this morning, which focused around lights and reflective clothing when out as a pedestrian or on our bikes. We got some really good practical advice for us this winter time and are now clearer on how we can best stay safe when out and about at this time of year.
Year 6 had a fabulous computing day at the Word. We used CAD to design an ice structure and the winning entry into the competition will be printed using the 3D printer.
Y6 are loving computing this half term! We’re in a programming unit that’s all about variables, meaning we’re creating scoreboards for games that we’ve been designing. Great work, Y6!
Y6 completed some early work this morning, continuing with the maths week theme! Their challenge required lots of trial and error! Y6 had a great mathematical discussion – well done!
