Today, Year 5 have been learning about online bullying. We had a big discussion this morning all about online bullying, what it means to be a bystander/upstander and how to block abusive users online. This afternoon, we consolidated our knowledge and created some Google Slides with our partners. We’ve been particularly focusing on formatting our slides and inserting hyperlinks!
Year 5 loved learning about Germany on Friday! We have spoke about the events of the Holocaust, studied Anne Frank and her diary and even listened to Wagner’s ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ with Mrs Smith. Year 5‘s engagement and comments today have been outstanding!

Year 5 have had a brilliant time at their Christmas party this afternoon!
Year 5 loved their film afternoon yesterday! We watched The Polar Express and had some sweet treats. A big thanks to Mrs O’Doherty for transforming our classroom into a train station and for providing us with tickets and bells!
This morning the class elf brought the Year 5 class two guinea pigs! We promise to take lots more pictures soon, we just want Daphne and Delilah to settle into their new home first!
Year 5 have been getting into the Christmas spirit this week and decorating their class tree!
Year 5 have loved celebrating Children in Need across the day, On Friday! We have started with laying out our Pudsey pennies, learning about the history of Children in Need and then finished it off with a dance-a-thon. Everybody has had a great attitude today – well done Year 5!
