Year 3 – Sunshine Funtime! – 27.06.2025

Year 3 had an amazing morning doing activities with our adults for Sunshine Fun Time Family Day! We created art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy, had popcorn and juice whilst reading round the campfire, painted pebbles and added them to our positivity snake and created clay faces to stick to the trees in our nature garden! Thank you to all of the staff who organised and facilitated this and thank you to our adults for coming in!

Year 3 – Spirited Arts! – 27.06.2025

Year 3 took part in Spirited Arts day, yesterday! We looked at the story of The Good Samaritan and the messages and meaning of this story. We then created a piece of artwork to depict the messages from this and created it in the style of Pop Art!

Year 3 – Music Fest! – 22.06.2025

Year 3 had an amazing time at St. Oz Fest, on Friday! We sang The Climb by Miley Cyrus linked to our value of growth and we also belted out Never Forget by Take That which links with our music mover and shaker, Gary Barlow!

Y3/4 – PE – Athletics Festival and meeting Steve Cram – 18.6.2025

Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic day at Monkton Stadium for the athletics festival today! We competed in different events across the day, including a 400m and standing long jump.
Not only that, we got to meet our schools PE mover and shaker, Steve Cram! We chatted to him about his career as an athlete and all of his achievements, including how he co-organised the Great North Run and how he still commentates and promotes athletics today.
The children were fantastic ambassadors for the school and made the staff incredibly proud with their exemplary behaviour!

Bring In A Tin To Win week is in full swing and is happenings until Friday! Children can bring in a tin/food donation for a chance to win up to 5 Ozzie Stars!
As part of our Agents of Change Worship this week, we created videos to explain what we had done to be Agents of Change and to thank everyone who has donated so far for their donations!

Year 3 have had an amazing Aspirations Day! In the morning, we had a round robin with different professionals and got to ask them lots of questions about their careers. In the afternoon, we took part in seven different workshops where we used skills from different careers to complete tasks and dived further into different character traits of the professionals. Thank you to all our visitors for coming in and sharing their knowledge with us!
