Simon was so proud of his vocabulary award he hasn’t stopped talking about it all weekend. He’s also been spending half the weekend asking us when different things mean, he’s clearly hoping he’ll get another one someday. My favourite was “Daddy, what does hyperbole mean?” Of all the words for him to have picked up haha!
Anyway, he wanted you to see him enjoying his prize being put to good use over the gorgeous weekend!
Anna has thoroughly enjoyed the Easter break. She’s had so much fun with family and friends. She loved going on the Gruffalo trail and then to Flamingoland. Its been amazing having two weeks off with the sun shining. She’s excited to be back today.
Matilda and Lily have had a fab Easter holiday, having lovely days out and meeting up with their friends xx
Freya and Sebastian have had a fun filled couple of weeks! Sebastian celebrated his 5th Birthday, thank you to his school friends for coming to his party!
Trips to Clip and Climb, Inflataspace, swimming, cinema to see Dumbo Easter Egg hunts! Looking forward to coming back to school tomorrow!
Mrs Smith was over the moon to bump into Alice and her mam and dad in the Metro Centre today. They were shopping for the familymoon following Mam and dad’s recent wedding.
Anna, Lucy and Lily’s showtacular show was today. They had a mer-mazing start to the Easter holidays. They were fantastic in their Little Mermaid show.
Reception delivered a fantastic Mother’s Day Assembly to celebrate our mothers and all the special women in our lives! How lucky are we??
Reception had an amazing trip to Durham Botanical Gardens to consolidate our topic around mini beasts and new life. We had a jam packed day and explored all of the gardens, finding mini beasts and habitats. We also held stick insects and looked at a range of different other insects and where they live. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we loved eating our lunch outside.
We said a goodbye to the butterflies today.
Reception took part in a Gymnastics Festival yesterday at The Urban Factory. They really developed their balancing, rolling, start and finishing techniques and transitions. Well Done Reception.
