Last week Year 2 started their new topic in Art. This half term we will be learning about Andy Warhol using the media of print. Year 2 loved their cold task and we cannot wait to see how their learning progresses.

FESTIVE FUN . Year 2 have been getting into the spirit of Christmas this week. Yesterday we made our own snowmen biscuits and enjoyed eating them. Today we played different board games, had a visit from Santa and had some chocolate Yule log. We have had an amazing first term and we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Year 2 loved their Christmas Party yesterday. We ate our party food, played lots of games and showed off our amazing dance moves!

This week Year 2 have been very busy! For our STEM project we have looked at different stockings, designed our own stocking and then created our own designs using CAD. We used our new hot press to iron on a Christmas template using vinyl. We also challenged ourselves to sewing, which we found tricky.
