Year three have been challenged this week by Mr Richardson for Maths Week England. We have really loved learning new problem solving skills!
Year Three had a great day learning all about diabetes for World Diabetes Day. We had a visit from Alice and Sarah learning about their experiences of diabetes and even did a Kahoot quiz to see what we had learnt! We then searched the Internet for additional information to answer questions about diabetes.
At the end of the day we listened to a story called ‘Teddy Talks’ which was all about a little girl who had type 1 diabetes. Year Three had a fantastic time learning about diabetes and we have learnt so much!
This morning year 3 were super excited to find out the gender of Mrs Chalder’s baby. We had a drum roll and Mrs Chalder revealed it’s a BOY! We had lots of happy faces in year 3 this morning 


In year 3, we worked in groups to learn how we would dance if we were from the Stone Age. Some of us were clapping, stomping, throwing stones, sliding and created some art movements!
Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed their first Spanish lesson with Mr Mathias. We have been learning numbers 0-10. Mr Mathias was super impressed with year 3 and their enthusiasm for learning. Well done superstars

This morning we had a visitor from RNLI to teach us all about water safety. We loved the practical and interactivity of it!
For our English today we asked and answered questions to ‘The Boy’ and ‘Om’ from the story of the Stone Age Boy. What fantastic lesson we have had!




What a super start of the week year 3 had visiting the Hancock Museum as part of our science learning of Skeletons. 🦴⭐️
