Lahna wanted to share this photo with you of her with the horse she rides. Since learning to ride without a lead she has been given a different horse to learn on and can you believe it – he is called Ozzy!!

Zachary and Bodhi took part in their very first Mini Great North Run yesterday!

Charlotte completed her first mini Great North Run today running with her mam and Lahna and Luke.
Super proud of her as she also got her 10m swimming badge today too 🙂

Halle’s baby sister, Daisy, was born on Tuesday night at 11.31pm weighing 7lb 15oz. She’s looking forward to spending her holidays getting to know her and she can’t wait to show her off to her friends at St Oswald’s!
Year 1 and 2 had a brilliant PE afternoon together taking part in a range of games/activities such as fruit salad, dodgeball, throwing and catching games and developing our balance and coordination on the trim trail. We then had a surprise treat off Miss Booth and Mrs Wells and had some tasty ice pops.
Once again Year 1, along with the other Year groups, took part in curriculum Week. Each teacher taught their subject specialism which meant the children got to visit lots of different classes. They have thoroughly enjoyed their week!
Today Year 1 took part in a football festival at Mariners Park. They participated in lots of activities and were able to put all their football skills, they have been learning in PE, into practice! Lots of super dribbling skills. Well done Year 1!
Year One had lots of fun on Friday learning about Kenya during our lastest Far Away Friday event. We started with a Kahoot Quiz to see what we knew already and then we got busy on google maps to investigate the geographical features. We discovered the countries that border Kenya and also its capital.
Next it was art, with our grown ups, some of which were able to join us for our COOL afternoon. We think they enjoyed recreating the Maasai Mara sunset more than we did! We ended our day with a Kahoot quiz against the grown ups, they were very impressed by everything that we knew.
