Year 3 had a wonderful trip to Segedunum in Wallsend last week. The focus wasn’t Romans this time but Prehistoric Pottery for their Art unit. The children got to practise lots of different techniques before turning their hands to their own pots.
Year 3 have brought their Maya topic and English unit to a close today. All their learning came together and they produced their final gold write for the year. The results were tremendous. Fantastic work Year 3

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed Sports Day on Friday 

Year 3 had the pleasure of meeting Kirtida this morning. She visited our school as part of our RE unit about the Hindu faith. Kirtida brought in so many interesting artefacts. The best part was dressing up in traditional clothes and playing her drum.

Year 3 had a very exciting transition morning….we got to meet our new Year 4 teacher, Mr Appleby! We spent a brilliant morning getting to know each other and we are super excited for September!
The children in Year 3 have been working hard during their recent writing sequence. They have planned, drafted and written some fantastic recounts of their time in Year 4 from their transition mornings.

Year 3 had a fun filled morning during their transition. We completed an orienteering task based on our Science topic where we identified all the stages of a plant’s life cycle, and then worked out the correct order to put them in.
