Hi St Oswald’s!
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thankyou for such an amazing response to my leaving. The last day was hugely emotional and I have been absolutely overwhelmed and utterly humbled by all your very kind words and wishes.

St Oswald’s is such a wonderful inspiring community and I consider myself truly blessed to have been a part of this amazing family for over 4 years!
I will never forget the pride and daily joy of working with you all and I hope and pray that our paths will cross again soon.

Until then look after each other and carry on being amazing.

Mr Richardson senior senior will never be forgotten – 19.2.2021

Some members of our school community might remember Mr Richardson’s grandfather, Denis. He came into school for Remembrance services where he laid wreaths, shared his experiences of being evacuated in WWII with Y6 classes and also spoke to us all in a special assembly for the Queen’s 90th birthday.
 
Sadly, “Mr Richardson senior senior”, as we knew him at school, died recently at the age of 95. Mr Richardson and his family wanted you all to know how much he enjoyed visiting St Oswald’s and sharing his wonderful stories with us all.
 
We will miss you Mr Richardson senior senior! You have been a big part of St Oswald’s.

Whole School News – SNOWBALL FIGHT! – 10.02.2021

This afternoon there were whisperings in the corridors, talk of mischief… A planned snowball fight! ‘Meet on the yard at 2.30pm!’ they said… AND THAT WE DID (socially distanced – of course!).
 
We hope everyone in our school community has managed to spend some time enjoying the snow these last few days, we certainly have! Don’t forget to share your photos, we would love to see them! ❄️☃️⛄️🌨

Y2 – A doggie 🐶 surprise for Evie – 23.12.2020

Evie and Emily wanted to share their Christmas surprise with you all.
Meet Ruby, the newest member of the Mordue family. ❤🐶
She was a huge surprise for all of us but has filled our hearts with love and joy! We never thought we would be able to have a dog in our lives because of allergies,  but Henry has showed us we can!

Ozzie Owls – Christmas Party – 15.12.2020

Ozzie Owls have had an amazing Christmas party last night. The children have had lots of fun dancing, playing games, and tucking into their party buffet. Ozzie Owls would definitely put the Strictly professionals to shame with their fab dance moves.

We would like to welcome our brand new residents to the Ozzie family, hello there to the ducks!

We are so excited to have more animals as part of our school community, but these fab three are currently without name – can you help us?  We are putting it out there to get your opinions.  Please comment your name ideas and we will put these to the children and pick a final three.
