Summer term 2 welcomed an influx of avid Lego builders, ready to create what their imaginations desire!

What a fantastic night our Chicken and Duck clubbers had before the half term! The lovely Fiona volunteered to come in to give us all a pizza night, and we cooked a staggering 25 pizzas in her fabulous pizza oven!
What an absolute treat this was…a huge huge thank you to Fiona for giving us such a great experience, and to our lovely Oliver’s mam Sam who popped across to lend a helping hand too…the children loved every minute of it!
Simon attends the art and craft club at the library and they did Dinosaur themed drawings in the hope that their work got to go to the Customs House for their takeover. And guess what?! THEY DID!
Here is our lovely Simon and his Dino Play Park drawing – a very elaborate flying mini golf course!
‘On Saturday we flew out to Greece for our first family holiday and to attend a friends wedding – very exciting. The aeroplane was an absolute breeze for Ella, no one would have guessed it was her first time flying.
Ella spent most of her holiday in the pool with friends – they had a blast dunking and splashing the grownups – the kids definitely won on that front.
Ella went into Rhodes Old Town and visited the castle where she told us a lot about Alexander the Great. We also went on an aquarium boat where we saw a diver feeding fish underwater.
The wedding was a lovely day and Ella partied the night away. It was a fantastic holiday with family and friends, old and new and we made some amazing memories.’
‘Zoe had a fantastic first proper holiday at Haggerston Castle, she took part in loads of activities and had a fantastic time!’
Art Club really enjoyed practising their drawing and sketching skills after school. They especially loved Mrs Wood’s challenge of drawing Stitch.
Before half term, it was walk to school week! Our lovely Ryaa and Hariett rolled to school, taking part in getting here in a different way!
We had some exciting news in Year 3 before half term… our Olivia is going to have a baby brother in September! She brought in her teddy to show us which included a speaker with her baby brother’s heartbeat in it! We can’t wait to meet him!
