This week in Reception we have been looking at some other faiths! We have been learning all about how different religions welcome people into their faith. Year 4 have been working really hard on their division skills this half term. We have been trying lots of different methods to help us with our problem solving, and have been using our concrete resources to help us to divide with remainders.

Year 4 had a fantastic day during their trip to The Word! We became coding experts and learned how to predict the functions of the programming blocks, how to create a sequence of commands and how to use loops to draw shapes and use our debugging skills. We also created our very own news report focusing on self image and identity. A fun packed day!
Y6 had a fabulous morning at the Dhammakaya Meditation Centre. We learned about what Buddhists believe, how they support our local community and also took part in some meditation, considering its impact upon our mental health. A fab trip!
On Saturday Lottie competed at Legacy Cheer and Dace 2023 with her Cheer team North East Cheer GLITTER. They did amazingly and place a massive 2nd winning silver out of 8 in their division! We are so so proud!!
‘Daniel has had a great weekend, we’ve been to Keilder Reservoir, and then to the Observatory, having a great opportunity to see the stars and planets and learning about them. First clear skies of the year and we got to see them through the telescopes. We’ve all had a great time.’
We had another lovely toddler morning with toys, snack, songs and a story. We are going to run toddler group & coffee morning alongside one another each week as we hope to grow numbers!
Our whole school overall attendance % is back up to 97% – whoop whoop! This is AMAZING! Thank you, everyone!
