A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended our Pride Picnic last week – we had a gorgeous afternoon with you all!
Year 1 had a great afternoon on Friday enjoying our picnic together

Year One have had a truly wonderful day today taking part in our Fit 4 Fun Day. We started by playing Basketball then went onto a Obstacle course both were great fun.
After a much needed water break, we then had a game of football. Year One enjoyed our next station of Cheerleading and dancing, even Mrs Mc had a go!
Year 6 had a fabulous morning for Fit4Fun, on Friday. Hot, exhausting, fun, energetic, an amazing time was had by all.
Yesterday, Y2 have learnt about royal residences as part of our Magnificent Monarchs topic. We discussed the differences between palaces, castles and stately homes, then we explored some key royal residences across the country. Finally we looked at the significance of each residence. The children are really enjoying this topic so far!
This term, we have been exploring the concept of friendship during our Thursday morning worship sessions and we have been lucky enough to have our gorgeous Y6 friends to support us each week. Today, Y2 thought about why they deserve to have friends. They wrote their name on a piece of paper and then took turns to go around and write positive things about each member of the class, to show them why they deserve to have friends. We all found this quite a moving experience; it is a lovely feeling to receive so many positive comments from others!
What a splash our amazing Chicken & Duck/Forest Clubbers made last night for our epic water fight! We had a fantastic time, as always this lovely lot threw themselves right into the spirit of things! Bring on s’mores night next week for our final club night of the summer term
Reception have had a lovely day exploring on their Ferry trip! We loved the journey there and back, watching out of the windows and from the top deck. We made our way to the fish quay where we enjoyed exploring like pirates and using compasses to look at directions, we even worked out which way was north, well done! We then thoroughly enjoyed eating our lunch and having a picnic

Last week, Y6 and Y5 had a fantastic afternoon at The Word watching a real-life rock band. Different Voices consist of singers, a drummer, some guitarists, some brass instruments and a keyboard. We even had the very talented Hayden on drums for one of the songs. Brilliant afternoon
