Our lovely Maddie would like to introduce you all to her latest addition to the family, meet Teddy! We can see exactly why he has been named Teddy, what a cutie!
In Year 5 we researched the different regions of Japan and created a range of resources linked to these using our independent researching skills; some of us created factfiles, some compared it to our locality while others created persuasive advertisements to get people to visit our region. We also considered if our sources of information were reliable. We listened to traditional Japanese music too!
Year 2 had a busy day learning about Japan on Monday! We covered lots of skills in geography and art!

Year 3 have had a fantastic day learning all about Japan. This morning we developed our geographical knowledge using atlases and maps to locate Japan and then used the internet to research it’s human and physical characteristics. This afternoon we looked at Manga art and created our own Manga characters following steps and including key features. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and have learnt lots too.
It’s not just our children who love our outdoor area – so does our resident fox! Mr Fox was caught on cam on Saturday night for a late night stroll…
