We would like to welcome our brand new residents to the Ozzie family, hello there to the ducks!
We are so excited to have more animals as part of our school community, but these fab three are currently without name – can you help us? We are putting it out there to get your opinions. Please comment your name ideas and we will put these to the children and pick a final three.
We can’t wait to hear your ideas!
On Wednesday 2nd December Year 6 went into the nature garden to apply our mathematical knowledge. We calculated the area and perimeter of the chicken coop and some of us even calculated the volume in cubic metres! It was really useful to practise our measurement skills and see mathematical concepts in real life situations.
In Year 2 Art and Craft Club we have been making Christmas decorations. Mrs Wood was extremely impressed with our super sewing skills!
Alex and Izzie want to let everyone know that Buddy the Elf arrived last night and they are feeling very spoilt and lucky!!
Nolan’s elf has arrived back today but he has been put into quarantine for 14 days as he came from North Pole! Unfortunately he need to isolate, hopefully he will behave and stay in there! Nolan will be keeping watch!
Zachary was so happy to receive his special delivery to start the Christmas countdown.
Ivy went to Fenwicks window on Sunday with her mam, Cory and Aunty Jade. It was great fun!
We were sent this lovely message about Amber and her families start to December:
‘Christmas began in our house on Saturday by putting all our decorations up. Amber was a great help doing the tree.
Our elf, Spicy, came back this morning with a book called ‘How Winston Delivered Christmas’. We will read a chapter each night up until Christmas. We cant wait to find out what happens.
We had a trip to Fenwicks window tonight which was great. Lovely little story about the wind in the willows. Amber liked the part were they all had a big feast at the end to celebrate!’
Reception had great fun learning about Christingle and then making Christingles!
Reception have been learning all about Advent. We have made an Advent Wreath headband.
