We played a game to work out the difference between personal and non personal information.

Year 4 really enjoyed our break time in the snow this morning – we hope it snows even more this week so that we can make some snowmen and snow angels!
Year one are loving the snow this break time. We have been making snowballs and making snowmen!
This afternoon Year 1 have been learning about games/toys around the world, Miss Booth challenged the children to see if they could play any of the games at home and then reflect on this. Nathan’s mam told us, ‘We played the game from Zimbabwe which was harder than we thought but Nathan definitely had fun (I think mainly because he kept hitting either himself or me with his ‘stone’ when he threw it up into the air!) we used a cable for the circle and his maths cubes for the stones!’

Shay and Harper have a messy and fun afternoon being paleontologists and digging for dinosaurs bones. They were so excited when they found the dinosaur bones and even got to build the dinosaur which turned out to be a t-rex 🦕
During Worship we have discussed different emotions and feelings. We have made a feelings monster about how we are feeling today.
Year 3 have been using their scientific knowledge about magnets to design and create their own games. They had to use objects that would be magnetic such as a paperclip or coin and decide if they wanted to create a race track, maze or fishing game. Lots of fun was had by all as they got to test them out and evaluate them after they had made them.
Miss Pape popped in to see learning this afternoon and was blown away by the superb art work being completed in year 2. How fab do these look?! Keep it up year 2!
Today Year 2 completed their worship challenge. First we played an emotions board game with our partner. We had to identify different times we have felt an emotion. Next we created our own feelings monster. Lots of us had happy monsters but we all used different colours to represent this emotion and had a different reason why we have felt happy. We loved this week’s challenge.
