We are really pleased this week as it has been Year 4’s turn to go into our newly re-opened prayer space HQ. This gave us a chance to reflect in a different environment, completing activities set by Mrs Hope and Miss Dixon.
Today in Maths Year 2 have been busy. We went outside to identify different 2-D and 3-D shapes. We recorded the different shapes we round, as well as the different faces on the 3-D shape. We then applied our computing skills and created our own PicCollage. We had to decide on which images we wanted to use, label the images with the shapes and some of us edited the images and font. We will upload our own collage onto our Google Classroom.
For our PE lesson yesterday, Year One followed Mr Barron’s PE games. We used our throwing skills by rolling different types of balls to knock down cones and bottles. It was very tricky at first but we persevered and got the hang of it. We had so much fun and the children want to do this again next week.
On Wednesday afternoon Year 2 braved the rain and completed Mr Barron’s PE challenge! We had lots of fun and loved the friendly competition!
Zachary had a lovely surprise visit this morning to wish him a happy 7th birthday!
Yesterday, reception went into the nature garden to search for fossils!
For Worship Year One have discussed ‘How do we get back on track” These are some of our ideas that we came up together with.
Today Year 1 have been working on imperative verbs, one of the extra tasks Miss Booth set was for the children to watch a video and follow the instructions to make Teddy Bear toast. Look at Amber’s work!
Mam said, ‘Amber made the teddy bear toast and said it was scrumptious!’
