This afternoon Year one practiced using different techniques to join fabrics to be able to create a cushion so the stuffing doesn’t fall out. When you see us tonight, ask us which one was best!

DRUM ROLL 🥁🥁 We have another Movember entry! A big thank you to Bryan, Harry and Zoe’s dad, who is partaking in our Movember challenge. Bryan told us, ‘Made a late decision to go for the full handlebar style, this could look weird by end of month…’
Year 2 enjoyed using a mixture of media to create their poppies this week. We used our poppies to create a wreath. Some of us then hung them on the fence ready for Remembrance Day.

Reception have been learning lots about churches this week in RE. We have been thinking about why God is so special and important in a church. We have created our own pictures of what we think God looks like, we have made churches in the large construction and we have made some small churches too! Well done Reception

Today in Year 5, we have taken part in a virtual Amazon Tour. Everybody loved this in Year 5 and voted in the challenges, made excellent notes and were fully absorbed in the tour! We have learned lots about STEM careers at Amazon!
Year 5 loved this morning’s worship which consisted of making poppies in preparation for our Remembrance Day service on Thursday. Thank you Miss McKeown for giving us this fab task!
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their creative worship task this morning creating poppies for Remembrance. We worked with a partner to create our poppies. We created our poppies using a range of media, such as paint, collaging and coloured pens or pencils! Great job year 1 ![]()
