In geography, Year 4 have been looking at mountains in the UK. We looked at the four main mountain ranges in the United Kingdom, focusing on Ben Nevis in the Grampian Mountains. We played a Kahoot quiz to learn more about it, then, working in groups, carried out own research to find more about the climate and wildlife found there. We then collated our findings to present to the rest of the class.

Year 2 have had a great day at the Winter Gardens completing two workshops related to different areas of our learning. We began with a Science workshop and thought about the things a plant needs to grow. Then we potted our own plants! In the afternoon we moved onto Geography and thought about being beside the sea in the past. We looked at old photographs and artefacts and learned all about Roker and Seaburn beaches!
