Year 4 were super lucky today and had a visitor in class this morning. Paul is an electrician, and came in to help us with our new Science topic, Electrical Circuits and Conductors. We constructed a simple series circuit using a range of components. We then used our knowledge of circuits to predict if different circuits would work or not, and then worked out how to fix the ones that didn’t work.
To finish off the morning, we looked at different materials, and how they can be insulators or conductors. What a jam packed morning!
