Year 1 have a had a great day at the Winter Gardens in Sunderland. This morning the children participated in a toys past and present workshop as part of our childhood topic. We explored a variety of toys and discussed whether they were old or new and the properties which also links to our Science topic Everyday materials.

Whilst in The Winter Gardens another school were also visiting, a teacher from the school commented on the children’s excellent behaviour and how well they waited in line. Well done year 1, we’re so proud of you all!
