Today was International Day of Maths so we learnt about Fibonacci, who was a mathematician and a mover and shaker. We found out about his life and his achievements. Then we explored the first part of the Fibonacci sequence and worked out some of the numbers in the pattern. Finally, we discovered that the Fibonacci sequence is found everywhere in nature, including the number of petals on a flower!
