Year 3 enjoyed reading for pleasure in the nature garden on Friday. Lyla has enjoyed reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets out of the school library with her mam at home. Charles has brought his own fact book in to share with his friends. He has been fascinated with finding facts about our topic Ancient Egyptians. Maia and Caitlin have loved reading about inspirational women and girls. We discussed a famous ballerina who lost her eyesight and we tried to empathize with Alicia Allonso and how her life changed through her illness.
